It seems quite logical to start my blog with a post about blogging. So here I go…
What’s a blog?
To keep it simple a blog is a website that is easy to update and maintain. This post is mainly about blogs and blogging in the educational context.
At the time of writing this post, the word blog had 1,150,000,000 hits on google and it’s rising every second. To see what this word means to the word you can check Wikipedia, the free dictionary or our colleague Professor Crystal’s definition.
Where to blog?
Many people have chosen blogger, Yahoo! 360, MSN, Livejournal, Typad, edublog (esp for education), canalblog between others. Me? I am WordPressing for the moment!!
They are all online blogging services with some differences that you can check here.
