Exams made fairplay

I have never thought that Moroccan university students get quite the same questions as their counterparts in the UK. Toby Smith, The Zahir editor, was give a couple of years ago the following question for his A level : “Was the Great Gatsby great?” Phewa! That was the same question that I had at my fourth year final exam at Ben M’sick faculty of letters. Still, not many colleagues did have great marks though they produced as many pages as they could during the four  hour exam.

The thing that we lacked was “What Correctors Want“. Sure that would have saved our day or at least would have made our lives much easier. We could have scored better grades…

The problem these days is that some students know what it is expected of them while others are simply put in the dark. That’s what some people call information gap.
